CReST - The role of endoluminal stenting in the acute management of obstructing colorectal cancer.

The primary objectives of the CReST RCT are to establish if endoluminal stenting for obstructing colonic cancers can result in:

• Reduced perioperative morbidity and reduced length of hospital stay.
• Reduced stoma formation,
• A measurable improvement in quality of life.
